Riady was born with cerebral palsy and his vocal cords were also damaged at birth. He overcame the odds and shared his story with local Chinese newspaper, Lianhe Zaobao.

Every Father’s Day for 10 years now, Pastor Tan Seow How (Pastor How) has been writing letters to encourage the young people in Heart of God Church who don’t have dads at home. On Father’s Day 2019, I received a gift – a budgeting kit and letter from Pastor How. As I opened them, I was moved… and surprised.
While many significant celebrations involve giant balloons, fireworks and pyrotechnics, Heart of God Church celebrated in a really different way. We celebrated the unseen faces and unsung heroes that make HOGC possible—our church builders.
