I came to Heart of God Church when I was 16. Now, as a working adult, I am what we call a “vintage youth.” But even after years in church, I am still blown away by what young people are able to do when they are entrusted, empowered and given the space to make creative decisions.

Easter in Singapore: What to expect at Heart of God Church
If you are looking for an Easter service in Singapore, Heart of God Church (HOGC) is worth checking out. Every year, our Easter services span Good Friday and Easter Sunday. There is something for everyone, including dedicated Children’s Church (HeartKidz) services for the little ones.

Easter in a youth church is about Jesus
Our young people are, first and foremost, mature in their faith. During our Easter services, as individuals share onstage about how Jesus has changed their lives, you will be moved by how deeply they understand the significance of Easter.

One year, Pastor Charleston encouraged us by sharing how God can turn things around even if we face setbacks. Pastor Lynette also shared that Easter is about God inviting us into His family.

Gratitude for what God has done permeates every corner of the auditorium as we raise our hands in worship.
Beyond expressing their thanks to God, our members also show love to their family and friends by praying for them at the end of every service.
Easter in a youth church is exciting
Speaking of family and friends, our young people went all-out to make them feel welcome over Easter!
In the days leading up to Easter, a team of young creatives transforms the inside of our church into a themed environment where you can cross paths with friends, both old and new, while waiting for service to begin.
Our creative team is behind every element you see when you walk through the doors, from the installations to the photo opportunities, and they are mostly in their teens and twenties. The thoughtfulness and detail that goes into the experience is genuinely impressive every single year.
Fun fact: One of our members, Daniel, took the initiative to create this interactive photo booth with what he learnt in school about coding software controlled by motion sensors!
Easter in a youth church is empowering and engaging
Between the Easter message, testimonies, and worship, we also welcome everyone with a side-splitting comedy film produced by our in-house creatives, followed by a gravity-defying dance production choreographed by our young people.
Fun fact: One of our pre-university creatives, Grace, dreamed up the light boxes! At first, they had to be controlled manually with a remote from close range. But Henry, our 19-year-old IT whiz, had an idea. Together with a team, they soldered on new parts to the boxes and managed to programme control of their colours straight from the lights board at the back of the auditorium!
After so many years in church, I’m still blown away by the passion, creativity, and spiritual maturity of our young people. There’s truly no place I’d rather be over Easter.
Children’s Church Programme (HeartKidz): Easter for the little ones too
Easter at HOGC is not just for adults and teens. HeartKidz, our children’s ministry, runs its own dedicated Easter services for kids as well. It is a safe, fun and engaging environment where children get to discover the story of Easter in a way that is made just for them, complete with worship, storytelling, and activities.
If you are bringing the whole family, there is a place for everyone at HOGC this Easter.

Not at all. Easter at HOGC is open to everyone. Whether you’re curious, coming with a friend, or just looking for something meaningful to do over the long weekend, you’re welcome here. - When is Easter this year?
Good Friday falls on 3 April 2026, and Easter Sunday is on 5 April 2026. Both are public holidays in Singapore, so it is the perfect long weekend to come with family and friends.
- Is there an admission fee?
All our Easter services are free to attend, just come as you are! - Can I bring my friends or family along? Please do! The more the merrier. Easter at HOGC is the kind of experience that is genuinely better shared.
