🧹 What our Building Maintenance & Facilities Management volunteers do in church 🧹

I stepped into church last weekend and couldn’t help but notice this familiar sign…

The National Environment Agency awards the SG Clean certification to organisations with high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

The inspectors evaluated many different aspects like:

✅ Disinfection of commonly-used surfaces

✅ Monthly pest control

✅ Colour-coding cleaning cloths to avoid cross-contamination

✅ Soap concentration

✅ Facilities maintenance

OUR UNSEEN HEROES – OUR BUILDING MAINTENANCE & FACILITIES MANAGEMENT VOLUNTEERS

Our volunteers clean our premises before and after service, we have around 30 volunteers serving each weekend!!

Since the Covid pandemic, they stepped up to disinfect high contact surfaces in addition to cleaning the premises.

HOGC BELONGS TO US

While we engage external vendors for thorough disinfections of our premises, the BM & FM Ministry handles the regular cleaning – because the heart behind it is about learning to take ownership and responsibility, which builds maturity and character! In fact, the SG Clean inspectors were so impressed by how our BM and FM volunteers go above and beyond, cleaning and maintaining the church with great attitude and excellence. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
