I studied Medicine at the National University of Singapore. This required me to spend about 50 hours on school work every week. It was easy to be consumed by studying. But in church, I learnt that I could live a life of both success and significance, impacting the lives of others. That is why besides studying, I also served as a leader in church, mentoring a group of young people.
Today, as a practising doctor, I am still a leader in church. I also go for disaster-relief trips to places such as Nepal and Philippines, where I use my medical skills to help others. It is possible to Do Good and Do Well at the same time!
