Before coming to church, I was empty and purposeless. I was the student who made teachers cry and got into a lot of trouble!
Exactly 11 years ago, at 14, I came to Heart of God church. I heard a still small voice saying, “If you believe, I will give you a great purpose.” So, I received Jesus into my life!
As a youth, I was believed in and trained from scratch in the Sound Ministry. At just 16, I was entrusted with overseeing the sound mix for a service of 1,000 people.
Recently, I also had the honour of travelling overseas and served alongside the peers I grew up with. We supported our pastors in conferences in Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong.
With God, the dream we had as youths came true — we were making an impact in the world!
Now at 25, I have 10 years of experience as a soundman and find great joy in training new crew. I used to be the only youth soundman, But now there is an entire youth sound team of 14 to 16-year-olds!
Friends, just like how I found a purpose in God, I believe you will too!
